Shots fired into Shelburne County residence

Shots were fired into a residence in Shelburne County.

It happened last night around 9 on Hammond Road in Jordan Bay.

RCMP say more than six rounds were fired from a rifle after two people got out of a vehicle 50 metres away.

Police also believe the residence was targeted for unknown reasons.

Forensic workers are investigating leads in the case, and video surveillance is being reviewed.
