No threat to Lockeport schools as life flight lands at soccer field

An eventful morning in Lockeport.

A life flight helicopter landed at the soccer field near Lockeport Elementary and high schools.

In a letter to parents, the Tri-County Regional Centre for Education says it was related to an incident in the community that was not related to the schools.

They say there was no threat, and no need to implement a hold and secure.

We’ve reached out to RCMP for details.
