The former premier of British Columbia has died after a battle with cancer.
John Horgan won the NDP party a minority government in 2017.
He was 65 when he died earlier this week.
Horgan became the country’s ambassador to Germany last year, and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he can’t think of anyone better to represent Canada.
Horgan helped guide B.C. through the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as wildfires and floods.
And Trudeau says he leaves a legacy the will inspire generations to come.
