Police are trying to identify a woman after a boy was followed after getting off a school bus in Halifax.
It happened on Tuesday, after a 10-year-old got off a school bus at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Ontario Street.
“While walking home, the woman followed and approached the boy near the intersection of Fuller Terrace and Black Street. The woman attempted to get the boy to go with her. The boy did the right thing and ran away and reported the incident to a trusted adult.” stated Halifax Regional Police in a release.
The woman is described as Black, between 40 to 50-years-old, about 5’3, with dark curly hair.
She was wearing a red winter hat, red and black pants and glasses that looked to have jewelry hanging off them. She also had a red and green coloured flower tattoo on the top of her right hand.
Investigators are asking anyone who has any information on this incident, to contact police by calling 902-490-5020.
