An RCMP constable is facing sexual assault charges again.
Cumberland County Distrct RCMP says the assault happened over five years ago in Northport.
The victim contacted police in July of this year, and said she was assaulted in 2019 by a man she had known for a couple weeks.
The 39-year-old officer was released on conditions, and will appear in Amherst court next month.
He’s been suspended from the RCMP since January due to separate allegations of sexual misconduct in 2023.
