Snow squall watch for Inverness Co.

If you plan to head to northern parts of Cape Breton, be prepared for hazardous driving conditions.

Persistent snow squalls are expected in Inverness County (Mabou and north) this weekend.

From Friday afternoon to Sunday morning, 20 to 30 cm of total snowfall is possible between the Mabou and Meat Cove areas.

West winds will gust up to 70 km/h.

Environment Canada says visibility may be significantly reduced and snow will quickly accumulate.
