Playoffs getting underway at Canadian Mixed Doubles curling trials in Liverpool

It’s getting down to the wire at the Canadian Mixed Doubles curling trials in Liverpool.

Spots in the page playoffs are on the line Friday afternoon, as Jennifer Jones and Brent Laing face Brittany Tran and Ryan Kleiter, and Rachel Homan and Brendan Bottcher will face father-daughter team Jim and Jaelyn Cotter.

The 1 vs. 2 game is set with undefeated Jocelyn Peterman and Brett Gallant to face Lisa Weagle and John Epping tonight.

The semifinals go Saturday morning with the championship in the afternoon at Queens Place Emera Centre.
