New Queens Library site in Liverpool nearing completion

Renovations are well underway to transform a vacant space at the Liverpool Business Development Centre on Harley Umphrey Drive into a vibrant new home for the Queens library.

The library is expected to open its doors by mid-January.

The Region recently shared photos of the progress, highlighting key developments as the library prepares to transition to its new location. Items from the former library are being moved, and new furnishings are arriving and set up.

Regular updates on the progress will be posted on the Region of Queens website, and the confirmed opening date will be shared on our website once finalized.
