Clark’s Harbour man charged with 40 offences

A Shelburne County man has been arrested on 40 offences.

The 54-year-old man from Clark’s Harbour went on a crime spree starting last weekend.

He entered a home and made threats, then Monday there was a heavy police presence in Clark’s Harbour after a break-and-enter.

After days of searching, overnight Thursday the man broke into a residence in Lower Ohio, stole a vehicle and showed that he had a firearm.

The stolen vehicle was then found outside a building near Barrington.

When officers approached, the suspect pointed a firearm then fled the scene in the vehicle.

Later, the vehicle went into the ditch, and the man was arrested.

He’s in custody pending future court appearances.
