Snow will continue across Nova Scotia overnight into Thursday, bringing more accumulation and cold temperatures.
Most of the province saw at least five centimetres on Wednesday, with another five to ten expected overnight.
Eastern areas could see up to 15 centimetres.
The system bringing snowfall overnight is expected to arrive in southwest Nova Scotia late Wednesday night, moving northeast throughout early Thursday morning.
Winds from the northwest will gust up to 50 kilometres per hour, pushing wind chills between minus 15 and minus 25.
Roads will be slippery, and blowing snow could reduce visibility during the morning commute.
Snowfall should taper off for most of the mainland by Thursday morning and by the early afternoon in Cape Breton.
Another snow system is also expected Friday.
