Bridgewater public meeting set for proposed housing development

Bridgewater residents will have the opportunity to weigh in on a proposed housing development at a public meeting scheduled for February 18 at 6 p.m. in Town Hall.

The proposed development at 641 King Street includes 31 residential units, with 24 market-rate apartments, seven independent group units, and 11 supportive housing bedrooms. The plan also features commercial and community space on the first two floors.

The meeting is part of the town’s review process as council considers a development agreement for the project. Residents who wish to participate must register by February 17 at 4 p.m. by contacting the Community Development Department at 902-541-4371 or pam.adams@bridgewater.ca.
