Bridgewater man charged in armed robbery

Bridgewater Police have laid charges after a hammer-wielding man robbed a business on High Street.

Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Bridgewater Hotel around 10 a.m. Monday.

The suspect wore a full-face motorcycle helmet and stole some items but did not get any cash before running away.

A hotel staff member suffered minor injuries.

Police arrested two adults the next day. One faces an armed robbery charge and other offenses.
