The Edmundston Blizzard are the champions of the Maritime Junior Hockey League.

They finished off a four-game sweep of the Pictou County Crushers with a 3-1 win in Game 4 Thursday night in New Glasgow.

It’s the second MHL Cup for the Blizzard, they won their first back in 2018.

They went 11-1 in the playoffs, their only loss came in the first round to Miramichi.

Carl-Anthony Masse was named MVP of the playoffs for Edmundston, he had 10 goals and 12 assists.

The team will represent the MHL at the Centennial Cup next month in Calgary.
