Infrastructure projects in Shelburne get provincial funding

Over $1.2 million toward big projects in Shelburne County.

The province is giving $912 thousand to the Town of Shelburne for a wastewater infrastructure study and upgrades for development projects.

Another $255 thousand will go to the Town of Clark’s Harbour for wastewater treatment facility planning.

The Municipality of Barrington got $103 thousand for accessibility at the new recreation centre.

Shelburne MLA Nolan Young says supporting these projects is vital for growth and development.

It’s part of the province’s GRID program, which covers half of eligible project costs.
