Two charged with trafficking cocaine near Bridgewater

Two people from the South Shore are facing charges for trafficking cocaine.

The RCMP pulled over a vehicle in Hebbville on Thursday at about 1:50 p.m. as part of the investigation, according to a news release.

They arrested a 26-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman.

Later, officers searched the vehicle and a home on Charles Boliver Road, and seized cocaine, hydromorphone, cash, bullets and cellphones.

They face drug trafficking charges and will appear in court in August.

Lunenberg RCMP and Bridgewater Police Service assisted with the investigation, the release said.
