Nova Scotia’s Liberals want to see more help from the feds on infrastructure.
In a letter to Prime Minister Mark Carney, interim provincial leader Derek Mombourquette says he’s encouraged by the steady leadership Carney brings to Ottawa.
He lists cell service, roads and highways, housing and wharves as barriers that need attention in the province.
Mombourquette says Nova Scotians are ready to work with Carney to bring a stronger, more connected country.
He also agrees with the stance on removing interprovincial trade barriers.
Mombourquette says he’d also like to see the rail line between Sydney and Port Tupper re-opened to support Cape Breton’s growing economy.
