Mediation continues between Canada Post, CUPW

Talks through mediation between Canada Post and their workers.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers says they met with mediators in Ottawa Sunday morning, and presented their response to the latest offers.

Some issues involved include wages, cost of living allowance, sick days, workers compensation and staffing.

The mediators then presented the union’s position to the company.

CUPW says a response is expected in a few days.

A nationwide overtime ban is still in place, meaning there could be some service delays.

The collective agreement between the sides expired on Friday.
