Two people were hurt and one man is facing assault charges after a rock was thrown through the window of a local restaurant.
Halifax police say it was around 12:20 p.m., Saturday when officers responded to a man yelling at staff at Domino’s Pizza next to The Cheeky Neighbour Diner on Quinpool Rd.
The man broke the door to Domino’s, then threw a large rock through the window of The Cheeky Neighbour hurting two people dining there.
One was taken to hospital, the other was treated on scene.
The suspect was arrested a few minutes later.
The 38-year-old is scheduled to appear in court at a later date facing charges of assault with a weapon and property damage.
