A lumber mill in New Ross is completely destroyed after a fire late Thursday afternoon.
Firefighter Aiden with the New Ross Volunteer Fire Department tells our newsroom the blaze at L.E. Elliott Lumber on New Russell Road, was called in around 5 p.m., as flames headed towards the woods.
Multiple fire departments were called in to the scene including Kentville and Chester Basin.
The fire was quickly put under control and by 7 p.m., Thursday, was out.
No injuries were reported.
