RCMP confirmed with our newsroom that the motorcycle driver succumbed to his injuries while at the hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
A teenager has been seriously injured in a motorcycle crash in Yarmouth.
RCMP say a motorcycle struck a pickup truck towing a boat at the intersection of Hardscratch Road and Greenville Road around noon Saturday.
The motorcyclist, a 17-year-old male from Yarmouth County, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transport to hospital by LifeFlight.
The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
RCMP say the investigation is ongoing.
