The province’s police watch dog is looking into the case of a man who has a serious head injury after he reportedly jumped from a moving vehicle near New Minas and resisted arrest.
SiRT says it happened on the afternoon of August 25.
RCMP were called to help paramedics on Highway 1.
A struggled broke out before he was taken into custody under the Involuntary Psychiatric Treatment Act.
He was taken to a local hospital, then later airlifted to Halifax.
