Police seeking help identifying Cookville robbery suspect

RCMP in Lunenburg County are appealing to the public for information on a man suspected of robbing a business in Cookville.

The incident occured shortly after 9:00 p.m. on Sepetmber 8th at a business on Pine Grove Road.

The suspect set off alarms upon leaving the building with stolen goods.

He was confronted by bystanders as he left and struck one of them causing minor injuries as he made his escape.

At the time of the robbery, the man was wearing a white, blue and red plaid, button-up shirt, a black ballcap with a red and white design, blue jeans, and grey and white sneakers.

Witnesses also said that he walked with a noticeable limp and used a walking cane, which was left behind.

Anyone with information about the man, is asked to contact Lunenburg District RCMP at 902-634-8674.
