BPS investigating suspicious vehicle fires in Bridgewater

Bridgewater Police are investigating after two vehicles were destroyed in suspicious fires late Saturday night.

The first incident happened around 11:38 p.m. near Pleasant Street on the town’s west side.

As firefighters were extinguishing the blaze, police began canvassing the area for suspects and witnesses.

About 30 minutes later, officers discovered a second vehicle on fire in a driveway on nearby Queen Street.

No one was injured, but both fires are being treated as suspicious.

Investigators are seeking to identify three individuals who were seen in the area at the time.
