The Mackay Bridge has reopened after a vehicle fire early Monday afternoon.
Deputy Chief Dave Meldrum says they got the call around 11:50 a.m. The car was fully engulfed when crews got on scene.
The bridge was temporarily closed shortly after.
But traffic was flowing as of about 12:30 p.m., with one lane closed. Once the burned vehicle was removed it was reopened, according to a social media post from Halifax Harbour Bridges.
