Level Up Your Kids’ Trick-or-Treating with This Handy App!

Okay, part of me likes this, and part of me thinks kids should just do Halloween the old-fashioned way.
There’s an app called Nextdoor Neighbour that’s basically a place for people in your community to post about local events and share information. Around Halloween, they offer a feature called the Trick-or-Treat Map.

It shows you the best spots to visit with the kids on Halloween night, who has the best decorations, and in some cases, what kind of treats they’re giving out.
It might be useful for parents to use in the background, but if I had this app as a kid, I think it would have taken a bit of the magic out of it. Still, it’s being promoted as a safer and smarter way to trick-or-treat.
You can download the app on your phone, create an account, and even register your home. Check it out here.
