Man Charged After Breaking and Entering Into New Germany Liquor Store

A New Germany man will appear in court later this month after breaking and entering into the community’s liquor store.

RCMP responded to the call on September 28 around 7:30 a.m after the suspect used a large rock to smash a window and enter the business.

Several bottles of liquor were taken.

Thirty-one year-old Chris Russell was arrested that night and the liquor was recovered.

He has been charged with break and enter, mischief under $5,000 and breach of an undertaking.

Russell is scheduled to return to court October 25.
