Three people have been charged after a fatal collision in Groves Point.
A sedan and motorcycle collided on Highway 105 on the evening of June 14.
The sedan fled the scene leaving the motorcyclist who suffered from life-threatening injuries and died the following day.
Passing motorists stopped immediately to help the victim, according to lead investigator Constable Aaron Brown.
“We extend appreciation on behalf of our team and the victim’s family for immediately attending to the victim and supporting the investigation,” says Brown.
The driver of the sedan has been charged with operation of a conveyance while impaired causing death, failure to stop after an accident, and two counts of failure to comply with probation order.
He appeared in Sydney Provincial Court on Thursday, October 16.
Two passengers from the sedan have been charged with obstruction of justice for providing false information following the accident.
