Two people are dead after a head-on crash in the HRM.
It happened Friday morning around 7 on Highway 107 near Mineville.
Halifax RCMP say two eastbound vehicles collided, then one crashed into an oncoming vehicle.
A 31-year-old woman from Gaetz Brook and a 48-year-old Porters Lake man died at the scene, they were the drivers of the vehicles that collided head-on.
A child in one vehicle and a 19-year-old man in the other were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the third vehicle was not hurt.
The highway was closed for several hours but is now open.
