A beautiful white spruce from Lunenburg County is going to be this year’s Tree for Boston.
The 45-foot tree is from Herman’s Island Road in Martins Brook and was nominated by the former property owners, Ronald and Claire Feener. The current owners supported the choice.
Nova Scotia sends a Tree to Boston as a thank you to the city for sending help to Nova Scotia following the Halifax Explosion in 1917.
