Do Canadians enjoy candy, costumes and decor on Halloween?

How many Canadians get into the spooky spirit on October 31?

A poll by Narrative Research and Logit group found that younger Canadians and those with higher household incomes are more likely to celebrate Halloween.

Half of the Canadians surveyed will be ready with candy bowls in hand on Friday night, welcoming trick-or-treaters.

Whether it’s witches, werewolves, or whatever they choose, 1/4 said they’ll be suiting up in a costume to take part in the fun.

One-third also said they’ve turned their home into a haunted haven on the outside, specifically for this spooky occasion.

Over 1200 Canadians took part in the poll that was conducted between October 7 to 9, 2025.
