28-year-old man murdered in shooting near Halifax: RCMP

One man was murdered in a shooting in North Preston.

The Halifax RCMP says they got the call Sunday around 5 p.m.

Shots were fired near the intersection of Cain Street and Clarence Street.

When officers got to the scene, they found 28-year-old Jayden Tynes with gunshot wounds.

He was taken to hospital but later died.

Police are asking anyone to come forward if they have information about the incident or dashcam footage of the area between 4 and 6 p.m.
