Bridgewater Food Bank Feeling The Heat

Visitors to the Bridgewater Inter-church Food Bank will feel a lot warmer thanks to the generosity of a couple of local businesses.

Conquerall Electric and Rhynos Ltd. installed three new heat pump heads free of charge to help drive heating costs down.

John Biddle with the food bank says the savings are going to have an immediate impact.

“It may not sound like very much, but $1,300 is enough for us to buy hamburg for a period of about two and a half months for our clients. We’re so appreciative of what they did.”

As a show of gratitude, the food bank held a get together for Rhynos Ltd. and Conquerall over the weekend.

Biddle says the system has been in place for a month and they can already feel the difference.

And this donation is just another example of how generous this community is.
