Light pole at Veterans Memorial Park ripped down

A light pole at Veterans Memorial Park in Bridgewater has been removed after sustaining damage this week.

The cause of the damage is still unknown, but the section of the park where the light pole is covered by security cameras.

Images shared with our newsroom showed the light pole snapped on Friday morning, with most of it lying on the ground.

As of Friday afternoon, the broken portion of the pole has been removed.

We have reached out to the Bridgewater Police Service for more information, but they did not respond to our request by the time this article was published.
