A retired RCMP Officer charged with sexual assault appears in court on Thursday.
The Serious Incident Response Team (SiRT) has reported reasonable grounds to believe that Sergeant Darrell W. Johnson committed multiple criminal offences against a woman he knows.
The occurrences allegedly happened while the officer was a member of the RCMP and also after his retirement.
Johnson joined the RCMP in Nova Scotia in 2002 and retired in November 2023.
He will appear before the Nova Scotia Provincial Court in Port Hawkesbury on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 9:30 a.m.
