Bay Side Home in Barrington are still paying off a van they purchased three years ago.
The wheelchair accessible vehicle is used to transport residents to various functions and activities throughout the year.
Paula Hatfield, Bay Side’s administrator says last night they held their 5th annual Christmas Shopping Party and Auction.
“We had some local venders comes in and set up tables. We sell the tables for ten dollars a table and they come in and set up their goods. We had about 29 tables. There was quite a few people this year.
They raised $2600.
There are 62 residents currently at Bay Side Home for Special Care and 130 staff.
