Short Film Series Makes Stop In Lunenburg

New short films made in Nova Scotia will be screened in Lunenburg.

Atlantic Filmmakers Cooperative is taking a series of six films across rural Nova Scotia.

Programmer, Nelson Macdonald says a lot of the filmmakers grew up in small towns across the province.

“We have films from Shelburne and Sydney from all over the place. We just wanted to get out and show these films outside of Halifax,” said Macdonald.

The movies run the gamet of genres including documentary, drama and experimental films.

The series stops in Lunenburg for a free screening at the Lunenburg School for the Arts at 7 p.m. on February 12.
