Team Homan, Jacobs heading to Olympics after curling finals in Halifax

Brad Jacobs and Rachel Homan will be taking their curling teams to the Olympics in Italy.

Jacob’s Calgary-based team beat Matt Dunstone’s team from Winnipeg 6-5, in a two-game sweep, Saturday evening at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax.

Homan’s Ontario-based team completed a two-game sweep, besting Christina Black’s Nova Scotia team, for a 12-3 win, Saturday afternoon.

This February will mark her third straight appearance at the Olympic games.
