Lumberjacks edge Blazers in tight 3-2 road victory

The South Shore Lumberjacks picked up another hard-fought win last night, defeating the Sackville Blazers 3–2 in a tight defensive battle.

Jaxson Welsh, Cohen Westlake and Brandon Rideout scored for the Lumberjacks. Rideout also added an assist as part of a strong all-around team effort.

The offence was supported by a busy night in goal for Kegan Greencorn, who stopped 42 shots to secure the victory and keep the Lumberjacks in control during long stretches of pressure.

The win continues a strong stretch for the Lumberjacks as they head back onto the road.

Their next game is set for Friday against the Capstone Colts.
