Bridgewater has a new fire inspector.
Lisa Cadger has been asked to take over the position after Andy Wentzell took a sudden six month leave of absence.
She says she received her certification a few years ago but didn’t expect to be offered the position.
“No. I, kind of hoped, to get some training behind me and some experience and help out,” she says. “But, to actually be appointed, I hope, is very exciting.”
The position still needs to be approved through council.
Cadger has been working with the town for 14 years.
