Atlantic Canada leads nation as rental demand stays strong

Renter activity has cooled in some major markets, but competition for available units is still rising.

Canada’s fourth-quarter report for 2025 shows renter interest remains strong nationwide, even as business slows.

According to RentCafe.com, Moncton, NB leads the market with a perfect score of 100, while Halifax, NS ranks third.
