Poor Driving Conditions Causes Single Vehicle Crash on Camperdown Road

A woman was taken to hospital as precaution after a single vehicle crash this morning on the Camperdown Road in Lunenburg County.

The incident occurred around 8:30.

RCMP Constable Jamall Gray says the woman was driving when she lost control of the vehicle and went into the ditch.

The car landed on its side.

Firefighters from Bridgewater used the jaws of life to help the woman get out of it.

Hebbs Cross firefighters also responded to the scene.

Gray says road conditions are slippery with slush build up in some areas.

He encourages drivers to be cautious behind the wheel.
