Work-to-rule job action goes back into effect today across Nova Scotia.
The Teacher’s Union announced the move on Friday following comments made by Premier Stephen McNeil.
Superintendent of the South Shore Regional School Board, Scott Milner, says he’s surprised to be back at this step.
“But, that’s where we are. It’s a dispute between the Government of Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Teacher’s Union. We’ll do the best to ensure that our students and families are taken care of.”
Milner says exams will continue as scheduled and bus pick-up times and routes implemented during work-to-rule remain in effect.
Supervision of students will be in place 20 minutes before classes start and 20 minutes after they end.
