NSTU Announces Changes To Work-To-Rule Directives

The Nova Scotia Teacher’s Union has adjusted some of its work-to-rule directives.

The provincial executive met Thursday to make a handful of changes.

Teachers can now supervise out of province trips organized prior to the start of work-to-rule that have signed contracts involving money.

All Co-op and O2 courses and programs can proceed as normal during instructional hours.

Administrators, school guidance counsellors and registrars can also use PowerSchool to support course changes and transfers and to register students for this year.

President Liette Doucet says the changes were time sensitive and needed to be evaluated prior to next week’s vote.
