An industrial accident on the South Shore is being investigated by the province’s labour department. A 23 year old employee at Bridgewater Metal Industries in Oakhill was struck on site by a fork-lift owned by the company. He was sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A stop work order is in place on the vehicle involved until investigators can examine it closely. Work has been allowed to continue as usual though at the company.
