One of many tourism draws in Lunenburg will be ready to sail June 1.
The sailing season won’t be delayed for Bluenose II, despite problems last year with its rudder and hydraulic steering system.
Mayor Rachel Bailey says the schooner is a major attraction.
“I just had a number of experiences with people who have travelled from the other side of the country, from other parts of the world just to see this boat.”
A draft version of a consultant report suggests no major work will be needed before June.
The full report is expected to be released next week.
