Clare struck first in the Bantam ‘A’ West Nova Minor Hockey League provincial playdown against the South Shore.
Clare scored a 4-3 overtime victory over the Ice Sharks last night in Lunenburg.
Ethan Green scored twice while Cole Spidle added the other goal for the South Shore.
Game two is scheduled for Friday evening in Clare.
