The South Shore Junior ‘A’ Lumberjacks scored a 5-1 victory over the Valley Wildcats.
Nicolas Tardif scored twice and added an assist.
Matt Ormon, Logan O’Neil and Cody Grant also scored.
The ‘Jacks outshot Valley 62-17.
They are tied with Pictou for the final playoff spot in the Eastlink South Division.
The Lumberjacks are back in action against the Grand Falls Rapids Tuesday evening for minor hockey night at the LCLC.
