The South Shore Major Bantam Lumberjacks begin their quest to make the provincials this weekend.
The ‘Jacks begin a best two-out-of-three series against the Bedford Barons Saturday evening at BMO Centre.
The Lumberjacks are the third seed while Bedford is ranked tenth.
Head Coach Shawn Woodworth says he’s excited for home ice advantage.
“And that’s what you strive for. The boys are excited going into the playoffs. For a lot of them it’s their first time at this level playing in big playoff rounds.”
The Major Bantam Lumberjacks played Bedford three times in the regular season, winning twice and outscoring the Barons 9-6.
