Liverpool RCMP is investigating after a man allegedly approached a young girl at a school in Liverpool.
Police received a report last week that some time between February 1 and February 14, a man approached an 8-year-old girl outside the entrance to Dr. J.C. Wickwire Academy.
She was offered toys and candy, and was not hurt.
An exact description is not available, but the girl described him as a tall man with a deep voice, and that he may have been wearing a colourful costume.
Police say they have not had any other similar complaints in the area and they’re working to ensure the safety of the students
Surveillance video is being reviewed to determine the man’s identity.
