Texting while driving has landed a Yarmouth man in hot water. RCMP say a 32 year-old was pulled over because he was seen texting while driving last Thursday. However, a strong smell of pot was coming out of the vehicle during the traffic stop. A search of the vehicle turned up more than a few text messages as neatly a half kilogram of marihuana was discovered inside the vehicle. Police made the find on Highway 1 in Hebron. The man is facing possession and trafficking charges. He’s due in Yarmouth court in April.
